My love for making things with my hands, nature, cute clothes & accessories, and living a happy, low-stress life are what I hope shine through on this website. This site is the embodiment of everything that I love about crocheting. It is a positive and happy place to learn and grow. It is a way for me to express myself and encourage you to do the same. And the patterns that I make are a way for me to bring more beauty and comfort into the world. I hope that you find some joy through this site because it really is my passion project and I hope that it brings more happiness, beauty, and peace into your life.
About Me: I grew up in Colorado and still live here with my long-term boyfriend, Jesse, our puppy, Charlie, 2 snakes (ball pythons) Kali & Zeus, and our chameleon, Taco. When I am not crocheting I love to take Charlie on hikes, bake delicious food, eat cheese, charcuterie, & bread, and care for/rearrange my many plants (approximately 25 at the time of writing this all in a 2 bedroom condo).
My full time job is a marketing coordinator and graphic designer for a travel marketing company and I love to travel myself. I went on a 2 month volunteer trip to Fiji where I learned to SCUBA dive and did conservation research while diving every day. I also took a solo trip to Thailand, where I earned my SCUBA Divemaster certification and subsequently traveled around different places in Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia. My favorite places were Singapore and Chiang Mai, Thailand.
I have a passion for living in the ‘here and now.’ I strive to reduce my time on social media and staring at my phone. Instead I focus on more meaningful and productive tasks, like reading, listening to podcasts, spending time outside, working on Crochet Unraveled, and endlessly shopping for and organizing my yarn.
I really hope that you enjoyed this little ‘About Me.’ There really is an actual person behind this website and I am working very hard to bring you a slice of happiness in this world! Crocheting is something to be celebrated because of all of the wonderful things that it can do for us, including bringing people together through this site!
